361 sprocket?

I know I could just go outside and pull my 361 apart to answer this myself but here goes anyway. What pin sprocket is standard on this saw? Which pin will give this thing more grunt?

7 pin on 3/8 is "standard". That gives more "grunt" on longer bars. If you have a real short bar, moving to an 8 might help cut times. I run a 7 on all my bars.

I am running a 20 inch bar and this thing cuts like a light sabre but was looking to give myself a little more forgiveness in the cut.

Put on a full skip chain, and test it with a 7 and an 8...

My 361 cuts plenty fast, and has plenty of room with a 24"/7 pin.
