I have always been told if you want to learn about a item or product ask the people that know. So I am asking Want to learn about this chain saw bar. All the information I can get. Never seen one,so this should tell you that any comment or opinion given will be news to me. (For Stihl MS360 saw or 028.)

Thanks
JR

I have one for my Dolmars. It is a laminated bar, the tip is not replaceable. It has cut a lot of firewood, and I've not had any problems with it.

I run a 24" Sugi-Hara on a 2186 Jonsered and have never had a problem with it. It is lighter and doesn't where as fast as say a Winsor or Oregan bar, but they are more money. As far as the tips they are replaceable. They are only made in StIhl mount if you want to put them on other saws you have to use shim springs on your bar studs. I have cut about 500,000 board feet with this bar and my next bar will be a Sugi.
