Got a good 'un here. Looking for a Homelite XL (top handle) complete muffler assembly. Modifiedmark threw one of these saws into the back of my pickup as I was rolling down his driveway and, of course, its missing parts. Anybody got one laying around? Drop me a PM if you do.

Chris that reminds me......................Normzilla44 did the exact same thing to me when we went cutting a couple weekends ago. I'm thankfuly supposed to give it back.............once I get it running for his buddy. It's an early mag-cased XL-2. Mark needs more Homelites BTW...

Need a 24" bar and chain for my 288 still, and i need a 14" picco chain, and a 16" bar and chain for my 028...

I have a bar that needs a new sprocket nose, think its GB titanium off a 385 xp. Same as 288 I was thinking ? Am sure I have used chains that would have a lot of useful life with some good sharpening if your interested. Have new loops of Oregon 50 dl 14" 50 ga or if you need .043 stihl picco I have some, would have to know drive link count. Have new and used 16" bars in .325 + chains for. If it sounds interesting PM me more specific what you prefer and send your email addy if you want pics.

I heard that you two were about to start throwing punches over that little Homelite :msp_ohmy:. Were you fighting over who got to keep it, or who had to take it ?


Mentioning Homelite chainsaws, I still have a Homelite C-72 that needs a loving home. I'm so far behind on projects around the house gas powered chainsaws probably will be illegal before I get to the C-72. You can browse the 18 photos at PhotoBucket.

may have one. let me look. got two xl-2 saws to combine into one. haven't even started yet. i think i have two mufflers but one may be a little bent. interested? if so, i'll go dig it out and see if its salvageable or no.

I have a small Homelite pile, also. I will try to dig through it one evening this week. Is there anything else you need?

On edit: I should say I have a pile of small Homelites. If anyone needs anything please let me know, I could use the space.

I had a respondent thru PMs, so I'll see what he comes up with. As many of these saws that are tossed, there's bound to be a ton of mufflers.

I just done did, it looks awesome. Thanks to you and Ambull, I will now be able to build a sweet 750 that I will probably smash with a big tree later.
