Swap meet...

I'd swap for two full skips. Need to clear chips fast on that length with a ported 660 and 8-pin rim. Thought I'd experiment between half and full skip, but full skip is fine.

I'm here tomorrow morning and then will be gone for several days. If you want to send me a shipping PM, I'll send you mine and I can get them shipped before I leave tomorrow.

OK, I checked- what is have is two loops: one is brand new and the other looks to have had one sharpening. The cutters on the new chain are 10.20mm and the one that has been sharpened has cutters that are 10.0mm. It looks to have been ground. None of the cutters have damage.

I really would like to keep one loop. If you want to swap one link, I'll get the new loop out to you.

a friend of mine,, yes he is an old guy,, run his ms-170 with the chain brake on :bang::bang: he melted the worm gear,,, and in the process of trying to take it apart he lost the sprocket bearing,,, so i am wondering if anyone had an extra worm gear and bearing for it,, i like to get it up and going for him,, i have some green and other parts,,i hope,, for trade

Ed, I think you will find the Poulan 2500, PP295 etc use the same clutch and you might have one there. If not let me know, I might have one.
