They make aftermarket covers for that style clutch cover now. Only used ones I have are beat.

I like them to say "Stihl". How beat is beat? Beat but not broken is good with me. It's not a petty saw to start with.

They're broken or have chunks missing. I'm sure your stihl dealer will be happy to sell you one. Those are hard to find parts in the used market. Pretty common thing to break.

I believe a Homelite 290/340 is synonymous with a Solo 647/654.

I have 3 complete ignition systems for these saws.

I had a Shindaiwa 450 or 500 several years back and sold it to my regret. I wish I had a need for the one you have, but I need to be selling saws, not buying. The one I had was the smoothest running saw I have ever owned. Tom

Parting out a Stihl 010AV. No carb but most of the rest is present. Not pretty, but reasonable compression (140+), piston looks good through exhaust, has spark but plug boot is off & spring is missing.
