Ok, for all those interested in the mess of saws I have, here is the

Awesome Plethora of Poulans...

They are from front to back...

1. S25DA, has comp, is complete with B&C
2.Craftsman 2.3 missing carb and clutch. Ran good a year ago.
3. Micro SD, locked up tight. I havent looked at this one at all.
4. S25DA, I fixed it up last year for a friend, he ran it once and pulled the rope out. Hasnt ran in a year. Easy fixer.
5. 25DA Ran great a year or so ago, robbed the clutch and carb. Again, I think I have them somewhere, yada, yada, yada....
6. Poulan Pro S25DA. Missing lots of parts, top cover cracked at handlebar mount, seems to have good comp.

And there you have it folks....

What you looking to get out of this Awesome Plethora of Poulans????

On a serious note, Im thinning the herd down to 026/044 so Im into those parts, part saws, bars, loops, and the universally accepted $$$. :)

Pioneer P61 (PARTS SAW)

I own a Pioneer P61 Parts saw, (no spark)
Im looking to trade her for another Parts saw, that I can actually find parts for.

I would rather this saw either be used by you, or atleast a part or twelve be used on your saw, and not sit in my shop......

What kind of part saws are you looking for? Also have NOS homelite parts and a few NOS pioneerparts

Basically I am not looking to fix my old pioneer, and I am sure something else will break and then I will not be able to find parts for that either.
I would like a ( Yes I know want in one hand, get in another...)
anyway,

I would like a late model Stihl/Husky as big as possible, parts saw that I can stil buy parts for.

I know that I am probaly breaking some law about not wanting to fix old saws, but not finding parts really bothers me....

I haven't heard more from him yet. Your next in line. Its actually a replaceable tip on it. Numbers on the bar are
C83X
2723
other side
3002/75-16SN
I do not have a windsor book to tell me what they all mean
Bob

I want this bar for a 050 Stihl I am rebulding and I am going to run 1/2" pitch chain on it. That is why I asked about the gauge and if it was a hard nose. Thanks Tom

I still have a very strong running Homelite 750 with a 32" sprocket nose Homelite branded bar and almost new .404 chisel chain to trade. I have tracked down most of my wanted list, but would be interested in an Alpina 120, west bend 820 motored chainsaw or Contra S or GS. For it to be a straight up trade the saws would have to be in strong running condition. Not so worried about looks as long as there are no breaks.

Well the Alpina 120 is taken care of now, but I would still be willing to trade this real nice 750 for a good runnin West Bend 820 powered saw or a Stihl Contra S or GS.

Is it .063 gauge, what lenght is it and will it fit the 050. What do you want for it shipped to zip 38828. Thank Tom

Here are a couple of pics. I measure the groove out with calipers at .063, but cant make heads or tails of the numbers on the bar, seems to be a 3001 bar, not sure if that fits large or not, I think it does.

Thanks. So why does it say 3001 in the part number? It still looks like a large mount bar?

it was 3001, but you know how part numbers are.....

it was changed to 3002 :bang:

its from west germany;)

that bar is 20+ years old

says february 1983 was its cast date

I could use a large mount stihl bar, hard nose to run a 1/2" chain.
It could be .058 or .063 anyshape, just not bent! LOL!!

Thanks!

Nice! Thanks for the info. Still NEW! Any Idea what its worth?

well, the only way to get max $$ out of it is if a serious collector needed it for a nos powerhead, or a restored saw.

i personally would sell it to somebody who has a nice saw displayed, because its not a very common bar....... let alone its nos
