Be nice to have this thread cleaned up a little.

I get damn tired of wading through all the hog piddle some people spew on here.

Now, does anyone have a 046 cylinder? No junk.

And who has a 064 air filter cover?

PM me what ya got.

Ok... I haven't been a member of this site very long but I want to give my opinion as well.

I've heard several of you suggest that we need to use this thread just for hard to find parts and parts that may be NLA. I disagree strongly with those suggestions.

When I need a part no matter how big or how small, weather it's common, or not, weather I can get it at my local dealer, or get it of the Bay, there is nothing wrong with coming to this thread and and posting the part that I may need because several times I have needed something as simple as a tank vent... and then been able to help a fellow member out as well by swaping a part I had for the part I needed.

Dont take me wrong because I'm nt taking up for anyone, and sure there's some BS going on right now and I don't like it either, but legitimate members that need parts should not have to be cautious of posting what they may be looking for on this thread and they should not have to worry about getting ridiculed for it neither. I bet just about everyone that has posted they need a part has somehow ended up with a small part that they can get at their local dealer if they choose to do so. Just because some of you may have the $$ to run down and get their parts and smalls at their local dealer, doesn't mean that everyone else has that kind of $$ so that's why many of them come to this thread to trade.

Just sayin...that's all

Trust me... I ain't goin' on the internet for a $3 dollar part my dealer has in stock.

True it's about helpin' a brother out... but we need to get real here.

Gary

I'll go on the Internet and get a $3 part my dealer has in a heartbeat, when it will cost me $15 in gas to drive to my nearest dealer
just sayin ..

same here it take 20 dollars in gas to get to my dealer in knoxville. and then i might get back to the house on that if they are not a lot of traffic.

I have some bars for trade:

Used Stihl 16" ES 3/8ths part# 3003 000 8913 in really good shape

Used Stihl 12" Picco with a loop of chain both in good shape

Barely used 14" Carlton Hobby Champ with a new loop of chain Carlton Bar # 14-29-N149-HC

Bump the above, and I have a Lil' Red XL that needs a primer bulb, and the fuel system checked out, and a Super 2 that needs a good home as well.
