I am thinking about trying tachyon. I have been using bluemoon/poisin ivy and like it. I just want to know if the tachyon is much thinner? I want to try it but if its thinner than bluemoon i dont want it. My hands are to big. I have been using a distel with 10mm ocean/DDM pulley. I think a spliced rope would be a good thing at this point. If it wasnt for the extra 50 bucks for splicing I would just buy the tachyon and see for my self but I guess the extra 50 makes me wanna ask. Maybe i could just get one end spliced and see what I think. I also am not interested in using 8mm cord for my distel. Its to small for my hand. I also am not real big on friction savers so I am not sure how well tachyon will hold up. I hear its alittle fragile. Good..just not super tough. any thoughts?
