I love my MS260 with 3/8" 16" bar. If you bury the bar in something that's bigger than 12" of course it's gonna slow down a bit. A sharp chain is a 260's best friend. I did the Lakeside mod (2 extra holes) and turned it up slightly. Runs 100% better. After 3 tanks mine is still limbering up.

I have an 026 I bought eight years ago and thought it would be close to my 034. It just doesn't have half the guts as my 034. Is something wrong with it? Most of you like the saw, mine is a dog. It stalls at idle too but don't know how to tune it. Can anyone give me advise? It has half the torque as my 034 and only 1/2 horse power less, or am I asking too much of it to compare my 026 to the 034?
