Very small saw, but seems to have real attitude for it's size!
Molded felling spikes, 1 stud bar mount, only markings are "Lombard, Electronic ignition, adjustable automatic oiling" . That is about all I can tell ya.
Any idea of a bar that will work on it?
How many CC's?
It calls for 16:1 mix, is that really necessary? or will my standard 40:1 do?
Sorry for the blurred second pic!
Any and all info much appreciated.
Many thanks in advance!!

there are two ci sizes of this saw, 2.2 and 2.4, lombard models AP22 and AP24, (2.2ci, 2.4ci), they also had issues with the oilers on these models that you need to watch out for, oregon 064 bar mount..................

I have the IPL for the AP-22 & 24 if you want one. Scan and email it to yah. Not that a part number search would turn up anything but the exploaded assembly may be handy.

39cc is not that small...............................

He will like a mix of 32 or 40 to one. Synthetic.

Hi,
I have similar, an orange, must be AP24.
I'm searching for clutch (shoes), but I can't find anything on net.
Is there any replacement (aftermarket) clutch for this?

If it is a good one then it will be a rippin little saw. Had a few orange ones, all used 1/4" chain.

Good morning (from here)
I know that my saw is a Lombard, the stickers just have disappear.
It has 3/8 L.P. chain, but mainly I'm searching for clutch.

The normal 50:1 is fine. The old ratio are based on "crap" oil, often just regular 30 weight was spec'd.

Bumping up this thread as I'm trying to find out more about the Alpina A-35, that seems to be a "clone" or just rebranded version of these Lombard models.

I've uploaded an IPL that I found for that Alpina A-35 here.

I don't own one of these, but I'm just trying to get my head around all the older Alpina models and cooperations/exchange with other manufacturers in the day.

From what I find at Mike Acres CSCC, it would seem that Lombard started these as "Little Lightning", a 2.1ci (34cc) with breaker points, around 1976, with "DeLuxe" and "Super" model variants following that had the 2.2 and 2.4ci (36 & 39cc) displacement engines.
Later these seem to have evolved into the AP-22 and AP-24 series with various extensions to those names (-1, D, SE??). According to CSCC those had electronic ignition but the very few images of IPLs that I could find (such as a photo by @67L36Driver in some other thread) also seem to show breaker points.

Also, there is the manual oiler pump: Some of these Lombards seem to have the oiler pump left of the back handle, but others don't. It's an optional manual override to the automatic oiler, to be used in bigger timber or cold weather. I haven't yet been able to connect that to any model denominators (DeLuxe, -D, -1, whatever).

For the Alpina, I've only been able to find one example of images online (on a Spanish site). The IPL shows the manual override pump, but the saw on the images doesn't.

The saw in the first message by @c5c7c9 really stands out from the other Lombards I've seen, due to it being "Alpina yellow" as opposed to orange. It also doesn't seem to have a manual oiler override.

@c5c7c9 : Any chance that in the mean time you have found out if your saw is 2.1, 2.2 or 2.4ci and if it has electronic ignition or breaker points?

@67L36Driver : Did you ever make scans of that IPL you mentioned? Would love to see it in more detail :)

Mate, you've really got to start looking at the last date some of these posts were responded to. 2016 and before that 2014. Start a new thread with what tour after in the relevant (chainsaw) forum.

Sure, I did realize this was an old thread (hence the "bumping up" start of my message). But the question involves specifically this yellow Lombard as I suspect it to have something to do with the Alpina clones, so rather than linking this from a new thread I figured I'd bump this one up ;)
