:hmm3grin2orange: I'll let you off easy on this one.

As in "bump"ing it up.

I'm just keeping the thread from falling off the first page. This forum is so active things get lost quickly.

Nice picture except somehow an echo found its way into it.

thanks

Thanks alot...it's lots of hard work, but it's worth everysecond when you get to see it burn itself to the ground(hopefully sometime the next day...LOL). that's a little aggie tradition...It's been redesigned for safety engineering wise, but it's still one of the biggest and most beautiful images to get burned into your memory....It symbolizes so much to me, and not even the same things it does to most other people. It's proof of what i was capable of doing (physically and mentally)...

for a good picture of what we did most of the time, look at my profile picture..if the guy on the right side of the tree in the blue work shirt. don't worry ...we were perfectly safe. I promise.

anyway's i better quit before i start preaching....HAHA....

hahaha

hahaha...no ..it's a substitute used for the more common noun "memory'..it saves your your finger a whole letter space in typing and therfore allows you to use that saved energy later, like changing the channel on the remote,.. or pressing the detonator button for the explosive you've attatched to your worthless John Deere Chainsaw... haha...nah i only got 3 hours sleep the night before and very little before that so i didnt spell check...ill be sure to move my finger that next letter space next time...'bad finger!..bad!!"...haha

what's a husky 359 xp??? never heard of the xp model just the 357 xp....

A 359XP I believe is a 359 with a 357XP jug and piston, or visa versa. I can't remember exactly. I didn't pay much attention to that thread. Something about performance gains to be had by having the larger crank case volume of one saw with the porting of the other.

owww!!! here comes the smack...:sword:

i bought it a while back not even nowing much that but it ran..been slowly getting it fixed...(college student+bonfire=little money)...it runs, but i haven't even tuned it cuz ive been looking for a filter..so i rigged it with a 288 elbow and filter. ha ha.works perfect. now my only problem is the rpm's don't completely go back down to idle unless you pull the throttle lever back with your thumb, so i need to tighten the spring or something...I haven't even even run it into wood yet cuz i just got everything together last week and had an exam friday...  ...but we will see.. i just hope it's not worn out or anything....that, and i get time to get it running perfect....

DANG IT!!!!! I went to test the 2100 on some logs today to see how it runs since i just got the air filter, and after finally getting the chain just right( kept sliding side ways at the sprocket for some reason..???..but it never did it before) i let it run about half throttle into a 28" log and chain slid off again, thankfully i had it at half throttle. well when i turn it off i saw what appeared to be smoke coming off the muffler..well i nmoticed the bottom of the muffler had some nasty old oil build up on it so i figured that that would be the reason but that i would still take it slow considering the condition i got it in( couldn't get it to start..found out the cylinder block bolts had been unscrewed so it's a good thing it didn't run...that is when i first got it...) so i figured i'd try in it something a little longer with just a little throttle and not for very long...well it was running clean and next thing i know i saw smoke coming around my hands...turned it off...in short i hav a problem where smoke is coming from all around the mufller and cylinder:cry: ..i think when cylinder was loose, it sprayed oil everywhere it it just started buring the oil since it finally got hot enough too....does this sound reasonable.....????

anyways im gonna try to take it apart and see by friday...wish me luck!!!!
