In the vey first picture in this thread there are 12 saws on that log. Now ol Tommy and me added it up and there is over 1,100 cc's of saws on that log. My thought is that since at least 3 of those saws are under 70cc's there must be some real over-achieving going on somewhere in that group. For the record the smallest saw I brought with me today was my dp 066. We might have looked funny but we werent under-powered.

Come on now Tommy. I think after today the 090 has got to be the BIG-JOHNSON of them all. However I will say that that 7900 did give my 066 a good run when Tommy and my buddy Scott were slabbing that trunk. (Impromptu races do happen occasionally I here.)

No no, that 090 is plain and simple THE CHAMP.................

OK all of those saws and only 3 or 4 gas cans? Was there another truck to lug those around?
Next time how about sticking a little MS170 in the mix..... maybe to clean out the bar grooves on them bigguns.:chainsaw:

The ms 170 is a good idea and I didn't want to have to tell a dirty little secret, but you guys were asking what that husky was doing in the mix.(oops I did it again)

So with all them saws..How long did it take to take apart that tree??

It went pretty quick. Probably would have gone faster if we weren't switching up saws all the time. You know , kinda like wife swapping but with items that won't be mad at us for enjoying a little variety.

Amen to that brother...

Was that a Mac 125 in that mix??

That was indeed a 125 in the mix. I watched Hoss use them both. Both are powerfull but that 090 was not to be outdone. That 125 cut good, real good but no match for that big 090. I think the 125 turned more rpms but the the lugging power of that 090 is unbelievable..
