You owe it to yourself to try a Kawasaki trimmer. Just over 10 lbs, 1.6 hp. Just got one, it is the string beast. No one makes a small two stroke like Kawasaki...you hit the throttle and it's just go time. They are taking the market by storm, too. Pure two stroke, no cat muffler.

I've got a Husky blower with a Kawi engine on it....It does a good job,one of the strongest blowers I've ever ran...Except for that new Stihl 4-mix model.

I've never run one of the blowers, but I have to admit I hated the Kombi. Ran one again at a dealer the other day...hit the throttle...

I just was forced to sell two brand new Kawasaki KX250 2-strokes..One was a practice bikle and one was a race bike...Engines and suspensions were modded by Pro-Circuit....They have one of the BEST two stroke motors in the 2 wheeled world....Due to bad knees,I can't race this year...I kinda hate you brought up Kawasaki's

I had to give up my New Balance 420s due to my bad knee. (Prolly didn't sell for as much as your bikes, though...) Hated it just the same, though.

My wife and I used to love to run together because it was about the only time we ever got to ourselves....I had to give it up about a year ago due to bad knees...So I bought myself Trek mountain bike....It's not the same high you get from the ones with motors...But it helps clear my head..

There is very little in this world I would not give up in order to be able to run again. Talk about clearing the webs out, nothing beat that for me. I see people running and I sometimes have to turn my head.

If it meant selling the chain/table/jig/circular/band saws...hell every tool I own...I would do it, and I would give the money to charity.

I know just how you feel....I have raced bikes for so long,it was always part of my life...I had just gotten Chic into it...She did her first race last year in the women's class,my daughter is running the senior mini class this year, and is currently third in points...I've really enjoyed laying back and helping her,but when it's time for the big bikes to race,I have to pack up and go home because it's just more than I can take to try and spectate...Knowing that it's questionable as to whether or not I'll be able to race next year is even worse.

hey timber,

I have a '00 kx250 that the engine was completley rebuilt by Eric Gorr(new cases and bearings). He also added his "mo better porting". This bike screams! With the suspension and carb dialed in it would make someone a great race bike. I'm trying to sell if you know anyone.

Sorry to butt in:jester:

We're sorry about that. We'll type s l o w e r.

Bob, I think you got in a little late on this one...the post I was referring to is in fact already removed...I was talking about my reaction to Rotten's post!

(I wish you coulda seen that post, too...yikes-a-hootie...)

  Okay...now I'm really confused. But I'll get over it. If I can just remember what I'm confused about.

I had a 00' KX250..Those motors were magic...I don't know what happened to their motors from 01-02..But they lit the fire again in 03 and they just got better.....Try the Woodsracer.com classifieds...That is where I sell off my race bikes every year, and usually they sell fast
