I did a **** load of research before deciding ,one thing that I came across which seems to be the most common issue with leverguns feeding is the OAL,some are real fussy ,the majority of reads pointed to a shorter diamension, maybe that's whats going on with hisA mate has one of those but in mint condition handed down from his dad but the bastard has trouble feeding
they must have run out of normal boxes...![]()

Spoke to my territory manager and they've received one in HQ already. Should be a good bit of gear![]()
I wouldn't mind ducking up and seeing how one of those runs alongside my 540 if the chance presents itself.![]()

thanks Herbs, thinking about getting rid of my 61 as its to big to lug around and use that cash to get a new oneA 2nd hand Stihl 017/MS 170 would probably work, doubt you'd need a bigger and more expensive saw.
i might have missed it but what happened to the 009 you had ,that would be spot on for campingHi Guys, want to get a new saw just for camping but not sure what to get, any help would be great
Regards Peter
yeah should have kept that , mate dropped his and long story so sold it to him, dont drop saws on concrete ,they brakei might have missed it but what happened to the 009 you had ,that would be spot on for camping
probably around the $300 mark, should sell the 61 for thatAll depends on how much you want to spend, what's your budget?
