Was all excited about getting a package in the mail today, only to find that it was the wrong colour :msp_sad: will probably have to send it back now...

The miserable bastard wouldn't even send it to me. He even stated in a PM that he doesn't have much big wood to run it in.
It's like posting a photo of your new Ferrari then saying you can't find the keys. Trickery like this should be banned on AS!!!

we have a dealer support issue around the area where I live now, husky shop is more interested in lawns and ####, the two stihl dealers know their stuff and it shows in the bush around the area.

yeh Will, dealer support is an issue all right, we have no husky dealer in town, one is 25min away the other is 45 min,

but trouble is brewing with some Stihl dealers, manly with older Stihl dealers who know what they are doing, Stihl is going around to all the dealers of late and putting pressure on them to open 7 days, open more stores, stock more Stihl stuff, Stihl are going back into Lawnmowers in Aust,(they are plastic Viking #### branded as Stihl) and are putting pressure on the dealers to drop brands like Honda and Victa, Stihl are basicly saying do it our way or go away!

I bet we see good old dealers give it away and be replaced by newbe's that do not have a clue and just tow the company line,
Stihl have a new Head sales manger in Aust, he is not from the industrie and is only intrested in sales, he said to the local Stihl dealer he is not intrested in giving service, only the sales figers of new saws! that why Stihl are now selling in toolshops and hardwares stores.

I tell ya what i will do for you,send me the saw and i will fix that chain problem i will give it a run make sure its all good and then i will send it back, promis :msp_wink:
I have been wondering about one of those if they are any good or not,there is not enough white bits on um.

The problem is commercial/pro saws are such a tiny part of overall sales, the marketing men don't give a rats anymore.

As the Husky dealer in Tamworth said to a few weeks back, the 395 is worth less than 1% of total Husky saw sales worldwide, and that dealer only sells one 3120 a year now.

Husky are still pretty strong around here, it's probably 50/50 when you go onto farms and check out what the fencers and the couple of cutters that are left are using, maybe the numbers are even tilted in Huskies favour.

There's still a few Dolmars around too, although that particular dealer in Tamworth really pushes Husky over Makita (nee Dolmar) and tells customers that the Huskie is a technically superior saw, even though they've sold Dolmar for forty years.

Just back from seeing a movie, the Dictator, Borrats new one it only an 1plus hour story jumps around like startled roo but still pretty funny not a riot but enough unPC bad taste n running down any nation creed or colour to have laugh. here just watch the trailer save ya a few bucks
