Heard some interesting news today gents. There may very well be a new long bar supplier (over 42") in Australia soon and it won't be Cannon (or GB) or me!!!
Should be good news for those with mills or those who want an affordable long bar.
I should hear something by the end of the week.

some intresting gear here, I use a lot of Tungsten carbide chain doing dirty roots so may have to have play with one of these saws,,,,

Machines

can say I'm buyin dimonds for the dear wife....:msp_wink:

Diamond Chain & Bar

They're for cutting concrete old son. Note the hose attachments for running water onto the chain. May be handy for Yellow Box though :)

Thats good, i often get asked where one can buy a long bar for a lucus slabber or rail mill.

Shame all our old growth is locked up, they may sell more long bars to the big log boys.

widomaker 1,,, you just had to hey.
Sugestion, start up your saw and give it a nice rev up,,, then say to yourself, thats the real deal.
Job done, and put it away again.

Man, it is hot here tonight. I have been working like a dog with hardly a minute to visit here. Hope all you guys are keeping cool and behaving yourself. The fish (Murray cod) are biting and the ducks have been like mosquitoes. Hardly touched a saw in weeks but got a nice one in the mail tonight from Wiggs and another old Stihl in a box last w/e. (I know they aren't cool but I like them) Goodness knows when I'll have time to use 'em. Happy holidays my friends!

copy that but I do cut some ugly big and rock infused roots with me carbide chains.
I may just be dreaming about what diamond edged chain be like.

What actual carbide chains are you using that will cut rock? I've run a few and found that if you hit anything harder than dirt the carbide breaks out.

stihl rapid duro, its always best to avoid loose stones n muck but will handle it. Any solid rock or concrete base yup u will losse a tooth if yer pushing at the time of hit

I had a crack at some TCT chain a few months back and despite paying $4 a DL I wrecked $180 worth in about 4 seconds into it's 3rd cut :(

well my fallow vic shooters i just deleted frank o'reillys ph numbers from my phone i have been dealing with
them for 30 years and now that idiot from HPGS has bought it they are hopeless.
did not even know you could get nosler bt's in a 1000 PK and then slamed the phone down .
will stick to cleaver for now on

cheers D

advance and drown your enemy in your own blood, i told the 15 or so billy lids who just left, were playing lazer tag around the garden for last 2 hours.
They're startin to want to move from lazer taggers to paint ball guns n games but rules say got to be 18 in Vic a wee younger in SA and NT. The industry is pushin for a lower Fed minimum but the 14yold boy may have to wait awhile till he get spanked bad by gell balls.

I chipped some tungsten chainsaw cutters. I didn't chip my teeth launching myself onto Tracy from the wardrobe covered in baby oil and chocolate sprinkles while hooking the ceiling fan with my face on the way through.

hahaha, matty force feed, ploomp right to the stones...

I was actually worried about the integrity of my stones Neil but then Zoe popped out and much rejoicing was had by all.
