I always had the impression Dan was good at flexing his ego, this picture just vindicates my assumption.

I thought that was Blakes, but whatdo I know? Looks like me every day covered in saw dust until I get in my house and then it all falls on the floors. Wife thinks it is a riot. :)

Whoops! my bag Danno, Guess this is the Dan. He better start wearing those eye goggles. Looks like he's got a little saw dust in his eyes, either that or to much whacky tobaccy.

.....I think he's turning Japanese I really think so.:)

Hell, i turn Japanese 6,7,8 times a day but my arms don't look like Blakes.

But anyway Blakes raped the hell out of those three trees. 2 Td's and a deadwooding of the third. We also got a load of poplar out that day as well.

Today we went and Td'ed a little birch at another job and then went to load the rest of the logs from yesterday. The Ho added another TD so we ran to get the chipper and haul it back. Blakes saute'd that one as well and we were out real quick. Its been a little bit of a runiing around from place to place but we are looking good and all in all it has been pretty easy. I got a little sweat going chipping by myself but no real butt-breaking I don't think.
He brought his girlfriend down with him and she took pics and waved the flag a few times on the first day but she stayed with the family today. She got bit by a yellow jacket on the forearm the first day.

Now believe it or not in that pic of me that looks like I am taking a crap, well, I am. I figured to save some time on jobs and wear those Depends so I can do that any time I need to. Ya'll should try it, its real time saver. I just hope Laura has some better pics than that though. I mean who wants to see a pic of me eeking one out the backdoor and one of SUPERGROVER flexing his love muscle? I don't blame you guys one dam bit.

SUPERGROVER flexing his love muscle

Oh those yellow jackets are out for anything this time of year. They bite, not sting. Me and me kid were messing with one. I swatted it and then we were watching as we stuck a stick in its face and it was nashing its mandibles.

Wait til Blakes checks in on this and we will go over a few things.

This is my girl's arm after the Dan's bee got her. She's all right now, but I do blame the Dan for this. He should really keep his bee's away from my flag girl.

Here's one of the Dan scrapin' and me a few feet off the ground.

Super grover? I like it. Though I'd say I'm at least slightly more bad ass. never saw him one hand on 026.

The Dan lookin' for the magic.

A little SRT, perhaps?

Wish we had some pics of the last minute speedline we set up today. The Dan is sick as hell on the ropes and rigging and will probably spoil me by the end of the week with his prowess.

I'd love some chaulkboard time with Ben. Guy knows what's up. I envy his rigging supplies. Whatever I can dream up that man can get done by shootin' a few lines and grabin' some biners'. Sadly we're just trying to bang out as many jobs as we can in the few days I'm down here. He is helping me correct some bad habits I've picked up though. Credit's certainly due him for that 'cause I can be a bit bullheaded and he has the balls to tell me what the score is. Hope the rain holds out for the next two and maybe we'll get some more pics.

The Dan getting a pull line.

Good stuff! :)

Yo dan: I really like that chip body, I was thinking of trying to build something just like that for the new/old truck - 4' sides with a removable top about a foot or so, for wood and topsoil. Any info on that would be cool, maybe a good pic or two?

CO-KNEE-CHEE-WAA!

So it now being Wed and its been raining pretty good we thought we were going to be able to stay in today cause the weather report looked good for Thur. Well it changed. I guess that hurricane is blowing some bad stuff up here, Thur is now suppoed to be pretty nasty. So Blakes and Laura are headed down to get these last 2 sticks on the ground and head for home. Its a little wet and drippy out there so I guess I might finally get an answer to the question; What happens when a treeman gets wet? Its been a good run til now dam it.

Just got home. Like a dumbass I left my phone down south though. It was a long trip but a lot of fun. I got some more pics and I'll see if I can load 'em up.

Here's a few for your enjoyment.

Gotta love when you aren't just peeling off the bark but also 2 inches of decayed wood to get down to something solid enough to set your spikes.

It was a little hairy but I was anchored to another tree in case #### went bad. The lead on the opposite side of the tree from me in this pick we pulled into another tree with the dingo. It was about 15 foot long when I cut it but shattered down to about 4 feet left on the rope. Deader 'n hell.

I actually think Laura has some video of that branch coming off. Need to see about uploading it. It drizzled a bit on these two sticks the last day but not bad at all. And see, I even had both hands on the saw for this pic.

And here's a few pics I thought were fun.

The Dan and his goggles.

Me and my new friend.
