I noticed the " equipment for sale" section is no longer present. I am selling my chipper, Dingo and some other stuff. If interested you can Pm or call 610-933-6830. Thanks, Ben.

post up some details and pictures of the chipper i am in the market for one now for another crew. and your close enough i wouldn't have to ship it.

forget that

The Dan cant leave... Keep the chipper sell the dingo... put spare cash in your pocket for the change but we can keep the Dan around. Plus alternative energy geeks? Even if they did have a forum, it wouldnt be as fun as this and how the hell would you fit in with them. I hear AA was looking at alternative energy.

Come on Dan, don't leave for the Energy. You have plenty! if you insist on leaving though, sell the dingo not the chipper. What do ya have for attachments anyhow? I just got a Boxer and want some stuff. If you do go, you need to stick around here, as you are the guy I look forward to reading when I come here. Either way good luck to you with whatever you choose.

If the DAN goes, this place will get very boring...always enjoyed your posts, especially the BEE tree story...beemandan, i hope the best for ya brotha

2007 90 xp, 4cylinder desiel non-turbo. Its a smaller machine. I have pretty much been the only one who operated it. Its a little dirty right now and could use a new set of knives, other than that its in fine shape and has no known issues.

Oh, you mean where it says " classifieds" at the top of the homepage?:msp_rolleyes:

I have only been looking at it for a few years. I posted the machines there if anyone in interested.

Is their a particular reason you decided to give it up?

You are in to deep to get out. You may take a break but you will still mess with trees. OBV you have seen your rigging?...its a labor of love for you. Dont sell the chipper and truck unless really need the money super bad.

Just a joke there Sparky.
There are many reasons I want to sell the big equipment, I think its just time to move on.

That's just retarded.. isn't that stuff paid for? what happens when a tree falls in your yard, and you're out there with no equipment feeling like ####ing AA or some ####! Get yourself together man!!

You have a point there...many actually. The thing is this business consumes a guy leaving little time or energy for anything else. I am too stubborn to let someone else do the work for me and not willing to get set up where I could hire people and treat them properly. I am not one to send guys out to break their asses ( and everything else) while I count the proceeds.

Like I said , there are many reasons why I feel its time. One being statistics... which I would rather not be.

You know, money was never really a motivator for me, I'm just not built that way. I am not a businessman by any stretch. I am getting bored of saying the same stuff over and over to clients. The thrill is gone... well not entirely, the thought of the climb still warms my cockles, the challenge of chasing deadwood through a big stick brings on a sense of security, the feel of a fresh chain on 20 gets me jittery, counting wood chips as they fly off the 44 is bewildering, getting my chipper where no man has gone before is fun , the fact that top rate is still what is was 10 years ago? Well now I am getting pissed off. Why should the slack come out of my ass?
I am also at the point where my business needs to grow or die and I am not that interested. I can still pick up climbing work, its kinda tough though considering i know and see way to ####ing much.

Change is the only real constant.

P.S. that knee surgery didn't go so well.
