My bad, however if someone's signature shows the saws they own with a " tag " of who did the work on them, I see that as the same.
Now just a thought here, but may be site sponsors need to have a color code icon so everyone knows who is or isn't.

If your referring to mine- Mastermind is a sponsor. He is also one of the most "well liked" members as well as builders on AS. And he does a lot here for members- not just people who give him business. Look at how he is "spear-heading" helping out Terry (another builder) in his time of need. It takes a lot of time to put together a Raffle thread, and it doesnt personally beneift him- it actually takes time that he could be using to pad his own pockets. I personally have never met a more generous person. One of the coolest things he does is actual build threads where we learn stuff and allows others to copy his work and benefit from his R&D. (where is the potstir when I need it). I put his name in my sig at "no charge" and it's gonna stay there.

Then we should delete all saws from sigs bc no saw manufacturers are sponsors at the corporate level and even saying 029 connotes a certain saw from a certain builder.

Hey Moody, do us a favor. Come on tonight, give a good explanation of what is going on, not a excuse. Were all human, we all have made mistakes in life. There was only one perfect man and he died two thousand fourteen years ago. My dad once told me "The measure of a man is not the mistakes he makes, but what he does to learn from them and to make them right" Im sure he didn't come up with that himself, but its great advice. You can ask my Uncle, I was NOT a easy guy to be around from 18-22, but I turned it around. Learned from my errors and i'm a better person for it. Your young, you have your whole life ahead of you. You want people to continue to respect you and your work. So how about doing the right thing? Id settle the mess with the other guy behind closed doors, then explain to us that its worked out. And as for the site sponsor nonsense, I have two kids and a mortgage that come before any other bills. So I can understand why paying a sites dues might come way down low on your "bill list" . I do not know moody, or any other person on this site. But moody seems like a nice person, and also tries to help people. We never know the trials going on in someone life, "They kept demanding an answer, so he stood up again and said, "All right, but let the one who has never sinned throw the first stone" How about instead of throwing stones, and trying to crucifie someone for a possible mistake, lets reach a helping hand out and see if it is taken.

Hello to all, I'm still trying to read up on this trainwreck of a build thread.
I just got home from my honeymoon, the ms362c is my saw and it isn't for sale.....well everything is for sale, but the thread isn't in the trading post for that reason.
Also Moody is porting the ms362c absolutely for free for me. I told him I would buy a new 362 if he would port it for free since he had been wanting to port one so bad, I told him he could borrow it whenever he wanted to take to a gtg along with any of the saws that he has ported for me.
I hate all this drama crap, so I would really like to stay out of it. I won't speak for Moody, but I'll stand up for how generous and the nice work he has done for me.

Now as for Randy, I have read through of his build threads and charity threads. He sounds like a stand up guy. I was in no way trying to bag on him. Weather he is a sponsor our not has nothing to do with this, and without digging I'd have no way of knowing if he was. Hence my comment about a sure sponsor icon.
I have a ported 261 from Moody and it's done everything I could ask.
I thought Moody had info in his tag for port work, maybe yes, maybe no, can't remember, dont care. To run this site cost $$ so the host figured if you can make $$ off of being a member here then you pay to the host. Honestly like a tax for better word(I know many hate that term but its needed in society.) I hope Moody gets thing figured out here & shows up shortly puts an end to this chat.
For a show down of 60cc saws I don't really think its gonna come from this thread. A real showdown should be stock saws, broke in. Never had em here from the get go. Modded saws are not a stock upgrade, but differe from builder to builder. So results will difer w/different builders on different saws.
If you want to be the king/champ you need to beat the king/champ not just get upto par w/them.
