I believe your 10-10A uses a spike similar to a SP81. If so, it is not flat as it wraps across the front of the clutch guard. A MAC flat one should work but your 10-10A deserves the correct one. You can find them on eBay from time to time for $10 to $15. I promised my spare to Eccentric otherwise I would give it to you. Ron

Hey Ron - Thanks for the offer! Roanoker has already mentioned (above) that the same ones used on my 610 should go on the 10-10A ... the 610 is waiting for some other parts right now, but I do have a set of dawgs for it. If they do fit, those are what I'll pursue, and check my SP 81 as well! The whole thing that would help a bit is if I had an IPL for the 10-10A, I have posted in the 'begs for manuals' thread ... we'll see. My only lament is while the 610 uses a pair, the SP 81 and the 10-10A look as though they only need one each ...

Here's a Homelite 360 spike, I see Biker Dude was looking for one, the photos not to scale, the 2 bolt holes should be 6cms apart.
Im in the process of making up a new spike for my 1050super, have got hold of a large industrial saw blade which is 4mm thick and will use a plasma cutter to cut the pattern out.

Subscribing, and someone make some better dogs for the 6400/7900 like the pro safety dogs baileys had. The stock ones are terrible.

Most reckon the Pro Safety ones are too aggressive.

If you look back at the beginning of the thread I linked to some modified 7900 ones I made.

I can trace them out and post them up.

MCW modified some Husky ones to fit.

I think someone up in Canada makes some aggressive Pro Safety style pikes for the Dolmar too.

Got some done up in CAD for my 044.
Post a stencil in the AM:D

Here they are !!
Should be to scale.

Here are the large OEM STIHL bumper spikes. Minus the holes for the chain catcher....but you can drill those if you require them.

Husqvarna 36, 41, 136, 141, 142 Felling Spikes

Husqvarna only offers an inside spike for this saw, which I bought. I then copied the shape & made my own matching outside spike.

Use the PDF for actual templates, the picture below may not be to scale.

I may can come up with one. Whats the best way? Just scan the dog on the scanner? Im not sure how to turn it into a pdf

If you can scan it and post the .jpeg, I can scale it in AutoCAD to achieve the proper center to center of mounting holes as required. Converting to .pdf is really simple. For AutoCAD I actually prefer .tiff images, but beggers cant be choosers:smile2:
