Just finished this saw up today. Didn't have the time to cut with it, but at least I got to snap a few pictures.

Very nice lookin' beast! Haven't seen a Shindawa up close but I hear they are a good saw and that one looks like a workhorse!

Cool! :)

They are GREAT saws, I used to have a 575 which is slightly smaller than the 695. My brother has a 757 that he has tried to sell me, but I have way more saws than I can use already. I still have two 350 Shindiawa saws that are very handy for limbing.

You can fool some of the people some of the time, but not all the people on AS

Well, I agree, they are great saws. I have one of every model you mentioned, and then some. I like my red saws quite a bit - it's all about what feels good in your hands.

My favorite saws of the bunch are my 416 with 13" bar, and my 695 with a 24" bar - a great firewood combo. You can't go wrong with a 757 either - a good match with the 575/577.

I have to say, that's a really nice looking saw, even if it does make my 488 look wimpy!

Nothing wrong with your 488, you just need a 757 to go with it!

Everyone else, Thanks for the compliments on the saw. As soon as the forest service opens season on firewood cutting and I figure out how to make a video, I'll get a video up.

Favorite little saw!

She packs a punch for 40cc. Sitting on some willow/poplar limb wood left from cleaning my creek out. 13" bar with .325" full chisel.
