088 Stihl , I didn't want my 028 super to get lonely. Came with a 41" bar and 4 loops of .404 chisel 59 Oregon chain. The 41" was a little unwieldy around the yard so I took a 32" D025 and changed the nose and modified the tail to fit , works great.
the saw had a worn out 7 pin rim on it and all I had in .404 was 8 , I didnt notice any bog noodling a popular log in 2 with the 41" bar.
All these guys meet or almost meet 6 cubes. I hate math, so give me grace when it comes to how close they are, please? Some will be in groups of smaller saws, but their being shown in this thread is good for their self esteem.

The piston broke when I was turning the flywheel over by hand (yes, that is what happened and no I don't know why), so it's grounded till I get a piston. When I get it running again, I'll take a vid for you.
How is the cd2100 huskquava to cut with stock? Say compared to the 395xp?
Reason I'm asking is some one offered to sell me 1.

I know you weren't asking me but I will chime in on the 2100 vs 395. In stock form the 2100 has more torque for a long 60" bar than a 395, otherwise I've found the 395 has it all over the 2100 and when ported the difference becomes even larger with the 395 gaining torque advantage as well. I've found the 395 to feel much smoother in the hands too. The 2100 sounds much cooler at idle though.

For your info. 6 cubes is 98.322cc. 6.1 cubes is 100cc. The big Husky's squeak in.
Thanks for the info, I have never run the 2100 but the 395xp plenty and it wasn't bad but it was completely stock (work saw) and I did alot of milling with it.
Just didn't know what my expectations should be? Some times I'm pleasantly surprised like with the large Homelite saws.

The r440 was a beast, picked it up for $60 and took it out to cut next day. It ran like a modern saw. Made me wonder if it had work done to it.
