Thursday night I get stung 4x just before dark... grinding stumps..
Earlier Pat and I dropped 3 ash trees in the woods... took out one tulip limb and a bunch of understory... Don;t do that very ofter... I thought later on maybe the stings were a little karma...

No Murphy you just didnt recognize that you were near a nest. you and your machine violated the hymenoptera zone and you were stung.

Hymenoptera have a complex hierarchy and communication system, so we may not be aware of their full battle plans. Just watch, these are only tests of our defenses.

I waqs wearing body suit, helmet with face shield, glasses, and a respirator...... one sting just below the eye, another on the neck, right thumb and left elbow.... that'll wake ya up!

Karma for what? I call it **** happens. I got stung 4 times the other week and I am still a bit red from it. Maybe with all that protective gear on you scared them?

Its better than getting bit by your clients f@cking dog, that happened to me about two years ago. I wanted to shoot it, but the customers wouldn't like that now. It took a good twenty stitches in the grade A hind quarter part of me. Try to sit on that.

If I was bitten to the point where I had to go to the hospital, barring weird mitigating circumstances, I would hire a lawyer forthwith.

as far as dog bites the home owners insurance should cover it. just have to document it and talk to the owners.

It was one of those third cousin family jobs, you know someone's friends friend.

If it was karma, Dan, it had to have been the result of something done in a previous incarnation.  I think it was just bad luck.

Thats why I keep a few cans of wasp and horney spray in the truck. Yellow Jackets dont bother me that bad when I get stung. European Hornets however send me into some pretty serious anaphalactic shock. Thats why there is an Epi-Pen in the first aid kit. $80.00 in emergency room bills suck.

Kenn:eek:

I don't even think 80 bucks will get your name jotted down in an emergency room anymore.

I have a pretty good insurance and prescription plan, The crappy thing about having to wait in the ER is all the people in there before you waiting to see a Doc cuz they got a tummy ache. Mean while Im covered in about 15,000 hives and am itchin like crazy while my wind pipe slowly swells shut.
