my love to u all. i got dn there and nobody was in the room [the family was exhausted ] but she was breathing,, what i call the death thros. if u hunt or have hit an animal with a car,,u know what i mean.. i got upset as this is the one thing i couldnt stand [they still had some life support on her]. after my fit [ill call it ] the girls aggreed to demand the doctor remove all life saving devices. mamma was gone to be with her creator in less than an hr.
1 pm the 20 th. it wasnt my sisters fault as they just loved their mamma to much to finally let go. now shes with god doing what ever u do at this stage... but a terrible wt is off me...
dan the jesture was more important than the saw. ill get one in time if i can.
if eric hasnt learned one of lifes simple lessons ,,as to what really matters ... its really his loss. someday he ll learn it . i pray the creator is easy on him ,when he teaches him this lesson . we all gotta learn it,, at some point in this school,, we call life... thanks for all the sympathies.. they are like salve to a wound. got things to take care of . take care of ya ll selves.

My prayers are with you and your family. I can sympathize with you, for my grandmother passed away on the 12th of this month around 11:00 P.M.. She died peacfully in her sleep. My brother and I went to visit her earlier in the day around 1:30 P.M., that afternoon. She said that she was tired of fighting and that she loved all of us. Her funeral was on Saturday, and her birthday was today, August 21.

Mary V. Beacham
FRANKLIN -- Mary Virginia Fowler Beacham, 77, died Aug. 12, 2003 at Southampton Memorial Hospital. A native of Southampton, she was the daughter of the late Algie Fowler and Ruby Whitley Story and the widow of Vernon S. Beacham. She was a retired quality control technician with Union Camp Corporation with 30 years service. Mrs. Beacham was a member of the Women of the Moose, the Coast Guard Auxiliary and was a Baptist.

Survivors are a daughter, Shirley B. Yanna and a son, Vernon S. ``Bobo'' Beacham Jr., both of Franklin; two brothers, Walter Story of Warrenton and George Fowler of Suffolk; and two grandchildren, Brandon and Jason Yanna.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Southampton Memorial Park with the Rev. James W. Browder III officiating. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at Wright Funeral Home and suggests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, c/o Mrs. Ruth Petty, 112 Southampton Road, Franklin, VA 23851.

I`m sorry to hear of your loss and pray that your grief is short lived, but remember how good things are for your mom now. you should also realize that she has just moved on to the next stage of life and she is continuing to get things ready for you and your sisters, as a good mom always does for her children.

well said russ. just exactly the way i look at it. been a many o time in my adult life when i didnt get killed. i always credited mamma prayers ... mammas ,i believe got a special line upstairs ,that when it rings .
they always pick up the line.
in truth she had a great life here. now on to the good stuff.least thats the way i see it..
