Hi Seth, never mind spinning yarns and telling us lies and feeding us candy, we all know what you are harbouring in the barage,(not a barn and not a garage).

Top of the mornin to ya
I am planing to put a new alcohol/nitro tank on saw along with a new ring and soda blasting the expanstion chamber and painting it flat. It only runs good on alcohol, runs like ???? on 110 octane at 24:1 what I run in my 088KD with the finger adjust carb it sweet but very tempermental.I flush the carb after cut .Anyway besides pvc what should I fab a new tank with? Stainles maybe?

Most of the hotsaws I see just use the stock tank. If that isn't possible, stainless should look cool, especially if you can polish it. Polished aluminum my be easier to pull off, depending on what tools you have access to. A polished tank would be more or less unique. Many hotsaws, including mine, are built with little attention to appearance. IMHO, if we make our saws look trick, it will add a little bit more interest for the spectators.

Gas is good for washing parts in,alcohol for drinking and nitro for racing. Better have some good oil.

Seth, most 181s came with a plastic tank, its just a matter of poor one out and the other in. A good funnel helps.
P.S. looks like a go'er
