Sounds good. I already have the kit and barrels. Did you line the bottom with brick?

Didnt have any handy, and needed the heat pronto when I put it in.I just shoveled in a bag of sand that I had in the shop which seems to have worked just fine.I have been burning that stove for three years now, and everything seems to be holding up just fine.

when i had the double barrel i built--1 inch of sand in the bottom--then laid some firebrick on that on the sides--never did burn out--and i dripped waste oil on top of logs----and ya--it got red a few times!!!! but lasted till i bought the shop next door---
