By the way, the reason the fence is not visible in the after photo is because the thing goes down the steep decline behind the stump and stuff I cut down. It's is still stand up. It's just behind the junk.

High shoots and a small landing zone require this method I call the Snap Attack.

In step one you see a depiction of a ladder, pole pruner, the green shoot, and the rope attacked to the green shoot. The rope is attached to the top part of the shoot and pulled very tout and tied straight below to the bottom of the tree on the side of the little LZ.

Cut enough of the shoot as shown by a little red line to where the top will not come completely off, but if you the give the rope a good pull, it will tear right out of there.

That top will go nowhere too far to the left nor right or anywhere except at the bottom of the tree.

The snack attack is means of dropping the things when there is nothing you can climb on or anything you can safely rig the tops too.

If you don't want the cut to peal, make a bottom cut.

Don't try this unless you've got the gift. You might get hurt.

Hold on, I need another hit.:dizzy:

You do realize the rope isn't doing anything right? All you're doing is making a straight back cut on the piece until it peels and rips off, it would do the same thing without the rope. And what makes that even more stupid is that it forces you to stand directly below the piece you're ripping off.

But Kudos on a job, uhh, done? FTA, alls I can say is just the terrain looked tough to work and if you got that on the ground like you wanted then good for you. no joke bt holy crap.

It is true that a picture tells a thousand words but it don't tell the full story.

isa is just a money grabbing organization. Keep up the good work. No-one should be allowed to tell you what to do. Other members on here are probably just jealous you can do things so cheaply. Behind every bit of sarcasm, you can detect the jealousy. Hope business goes well for you in the future. Every day you will meet new challenges to overcome. Anybody who says you can’t do something usually means they can’t do that thing. Don’t let anybody stop you from achieving your aims.

:)

wtf?!?!

I can see my earlier post caused some confusion. There was a hidden meaning in the message, can you find it?

I just picked up a 60 cc McCoulach for a few bucks, and it works. It's going to cut my big trunks until I can afford to get a better saw. This beats paying $40 per shot to the Home Depot for their 65cc rentals, and the drive money and time spent BAF.

This chainsaw was setting for a while, so I assumed the fuel in it would cause the smoke. I got home with it, I drained the fuel out, and ran the rest of it that was in the lines at full throttle.

I filled up the tank with new fuel, and ran it at full throttle for 1 minute. By the way I live in a complex, so I closed my garage to mute some of the noise. Any way in about one minutes time the whole garage was fogged in smoke. WTH?

It's running new fuel now, so what could it be? :help:
