Before wrapping up a top end rebuild on a Stihl MS 290 I needed to order some liquid gasket. Checked some posts and seems like the Threebond Gasket 1194 is the consensus choice. Any other thoughts or pearls of wisdom? I assume a 3.5 ounce container will last me for a few but am I mistaken? I've never used it so any insight would be appreciated.
Oh yeah, this site is amazing. Ever thankful.

Permatex Ultra Grey Motoseal works good. If you have an O'reilly close by they will more than likely have it in stock.

Yamabond 4, Hondabond, Threebond 1194, are all the same product. Dirko is good too, but usually more expensive. Whatever you use, just make sure you get the mating surfaces good and clean, and free of oil with Brake cleaner, or the like.

I use Dirko on seals and for dressing case gaskets but I feel like I loose some brain cells when I use it:dizzy:
I use permatex 518 on the cylinder base when no gasket is used.

I use the tip with the Threebond, then when I'm done, I take it off and go outside and use the blowgun on my compressor to clear it out. Works fine for me.
