I have a Timberwolf TW6that leaks Hydraulic fluid out of the vent when it gets hot. I changed the filter already. Any ideas on the cause?

It seems like it. I'm replacing the suction line and the return line
check the suction line hose clamps...if it uses the cheap worm drive type, sometimes they don't seal good enough and it will suck air into the pump...these are what I usually use for suction lines, Dixon DL series, they're usually under $10

Suction line air leak or pump shaft seal leak most common. Often due to suction line or strainer creating high vacuum at pump inlet.

Possibly return path into tank if it sprays above fluid level or if return pipe in tank broke or changed.

I ha ve seen cyl rod seals suck air but only with over running loads in rod retract direction. Do you have a log lift that got any recent plumbing changes?

It could be due to moisture in the hyd oil too.
If you run them hard and put them away hot, leaving it outside on a cool/cold night, it will cause condensate on the inner tank.
Over time it can cause high moisture in the fluid and when it boils off under heavy use, it may cause the symptom.
Check to see if the fluid is clear or if it is a cloudy, it could have moisture in it causing the problem.
