To Hot!!

So it's been getting pretty cold here at night, I've been having fun buring odds and ends, soft wood, Playing around with differnt types and heat levels.
Well the wife comes in form being outside and said she was frozen, told me to put a fire on. I told her there was so she went down to the basement and stood in front of the stove for awhile to warm up. She later told me that it wasn't very warm and it was going to be a cold night so I should make it hotter. Well I did and his morning around 2-3am she got up in a hissy and opened the window because it was to hot!!! can you believe to hot.. bah!!!

I think I better keep my opinions to myself about how hard it is to keep a wife happy. All you end up doing by trying is overdoing it, giving them what they want instead of what they need.

BTW, her opening the window only works till it gets nailed shut.

Like I've said before, I'm a hard one to live with.

One thing I've learned, is that on average, women feel 8-11 degrees colder than men.

We're taking off layers and they're still enjoying them.

If we're suffering, then they're happy....adjust to suit them.

When we were first married my wife was a "Heat Leach" - she would move over onto my side of the bed as I could keep her warm.

Now she is going through the change....sometimes I will wake up at night and be really cold....and I discover she has the ceiling fan turned on HIGH and has added another fan on the floor on her side of the bed.

low tire is just the tip of the 'berg for my spouses "gift" of telling me about a problem when I either can't do anything about it or unbelievably bad timing!!!
