I have a Stihl Wood Boss 024AV Chain Saw and it is putting out too much bar/chain oil. It's literally running right out of it. Must be some way of adjusting the amount of flow. Any help appreciated.

I don't think the 024 has an adjuster, sounds like a malfunction in the oiler, possibly oil tank vent, or ?. If you havent take off your bar and see if it is coming out the oil hole or somewhere else and if it is only when the saw is in use or not. (make sure when reasembling bar and chain the oil hole in the bar is open and clean the saw dust out of the bar groove with a hacksaw blade or something. )

Yeah, you're right, it does not have an adjustment. I'm going to try something that I should have thought of before. I believe it has 10 wt winter oil in it. Going to try some summer 30 wt and see what happens.
Thanks.
