A friend of mine (here in Northern VA) is having some issues w/ Austrian Pines & Blue Spruce. Said he sprayed for Needle Blight but it's not helping. What are some common issues w/ these trees? He didn't give me symptoms or pics, I'll call him later & find out specifics. Said he's also got problems w/ Hemlocks & Yoshino Cherrys. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Here in the midwest, Austrian Pines commonly get Dothistroma and Diplodia blights after they reach 10 yrs old. Colorado Spruces commonly get Rhizosphera needlecast, dying from the bottom up. All 3 diseases are a fungis and spray treatments are in the spring around bud break, and thereafter. 3x. Have to read fungicide label for specs. Chlorothalonil is a good fungicide for these.
