Or, are you saying that the fingers show that no light can get in and the cracks in between show that light can?

plants are green because they reflect green light and absorb all the other colors.

Even if you had a sunlamp spotlight with lots of extra illumination going into your chest, it wouldn't grow. All the red wavelengths would be absorbed when passing through your skin.

I think he was growing it out of his butt, it gets fertilized on a regular basis, gets a little light from time to time, gets to clean up natural gas vapor,
gets wiped down and can grow deep roots.

On a serious note this has to be a hoax, the tissue looks too healthy around the "tree", the nice neat needles, it should be covered in mucus, I believe the lung would look more like one that has a severe case of pneumonia, all slimy and full of excess fluid, I've seen them on autopsies of calves, the pneumonia fills the lungs with fluid and the don't let the air exchange properly, another urban myth, too many believe all they read.
