tree id...limited info

this tree is in buenos aires... a friend took the pic years ago...my best guess is a moreton bay fig...only because i saw a similar looking tree in santa barbara a while ago. any thoughts?

Moreton bay fig is in the genus Ficus. Judging by the branch structure I'd say that the tree could easily be a Ficus. However the resolution of the photo isn't clear enough for me to see the leaves well enough to narrow it down to a specific species of Ficus. Moreton bay fig ain't a bad guess at all though.

Sounds like a good guess to me as well. B.A. is an interesting city for tree varieties.

Yep good guess.. based on the pic it could easily be a Morteon Bay Fig.But there are many diff. ficus around the world.
