Here's a couple of other pics from Sun Island in Harbin. My wife played here as a child but could not recognize it now. I do not particularly care for their method of tree trimming... but I will say its consistent. Much more prevalent in Harbin then Beijing.

At least all of the trees were topped at the same height. In the picture in your other thread I thought they didn't top trees.
