do many of you tree service owners out there carry out tree reports and surveys as part of your company services??..also how many of you out there use a 'resistograph' are you pleased with it?? how often does it get used?? was it a waste of money?? i have one and personaly it doesn't get used that often which i find disapointing, but as the machine goes i'm very happy with its
results in decay testing

rolla have you used one on a tree that looks like mb's "what causes this?" tree? I don't own one but I rent one from time to time. A very good tool.:)

no Guy i haven't used my resistograph on a tree like MBs..i bet the lines would be very close together..i only drill into a trunk a maximum of a 1/3 baseing this on CLAUS MATTECKS studys on trees failing only when decay goes over 1/3..therefore i do not break any of the trees barriers if decay is present ,do you work the machine this way??

Don't own one, but I have a sub I use who's very good with one.

Another great tool to have in the proverbial toolbox.
