"troybuilt"????

This is not exactly related to saws but I know most of these readers have shops as well,I'm looking for a "TROYBUILT"snout for a "CHIPPER VAC" model # 47282.Any suggestions would be appreciated..Thank you, [email protected].

MTD now owns Troybilt. You may be able to order the part online or by calling their order number. That would be my first bet.

MTD didn't take the chipper line. Last I heard was that Murray had rights to it.
I've about given up on trying to find parts for them.

I haven't tried to get any parts for these, but MTD lists these two chipper vacs on their website.

Those on their site are not the model 47282 !! These units are quit larger than the ones on their site. But thanks for replying !!

Rick,
Your unit is not in production by any one, to the best of my knowledge.
The units on the TB site are just MTD junk painted red, not the old TB ones.
From what I have seen of MTD built products that come though my shop,( and there are a lot of them), every thing they make seeks the same low level of quality.
