Tulip Poplar

I asked about this stuff few months ago when I mistook it for ash. Well, I've had my first fire of the year and am glad I kept the poplar. It dried quickly and produced a very pleasing flame (fireplace not woodstove). I'm sure Marty is right when he said the best use of this wood is to mix it with harder woods like oak for best results, next cool night I'll try it and let you know.
