Howdy Folks

My cousin brought a Red Light 066 Magnum into my shop the other day to be rebuilt. He's a sawyer in a mill by trade, and cuts wood as a hobbie. Him and my brother are highly competitive firewood cutters. My brother suggested I tune my cousin's 066 down so my brother could outcut him with his 044. Here's some ideas I came up with:

1.- Install a baffle in the combustion chamber.

2.-Install boost ports in the cylinder, but instead of facing them up towards the combustion chamber, face them down towards the crankcase.

3.-Use a carburetor and muffler off of an 028.

4.- Use a 36" bar with .404 standard sequence chipper chain.

5.- Use old shoe leather and laces as a fuel filter and fuel line.

Any other ideas?? Did they ever make a chipper chain in .404 with those anti-kickback triple hump tie straps??
