So i finally thought its time to retire my echo cs3000 top handle saw and get a new one
i have switched to almost all husky in my OPE line up, from brush cutters and stuff
got my self a new husky t435 top handle 2 weeks ago, its a xtorq model

its a TURD !!! the throttle response is sh!ttiest among the top handle i've had and run.
the carb adjustments are limited, i cant turn in the L too far. it wont matter if i go too far its hard to start
now i was thinking if there's anyway to hop up this turd, the muffler is probably the weirdest i've seen in my life

throw me suggestion guys

Saw is new right? Take it back to the dealer, no reason to void the warranty by trying to adjust it.

Pull the limiters, open up the actual muffler and the tube where it exits near the clutch cover, re tune. After doing this mine ran pretty well. My biggest gripe was how stiff the chainbrake was.

how do you pull the limiters ? the adjustment screws are there, so do i take it off and fiddle with the springs ?
i need to study the muffler, its odd kinda design
the chainbrake is really PITA, it drives me crazy

I think those limiter caps I pulled with a drywall screw, its been a while so not exactly sure. The muffler is separate from the tube the exhaust exits out of. I opened up the outlets of both.
If you take it back, try the t536lixp. It's probably the best top handle out there right now.
