What's the most stable chipper?
Question for the UK readers: which chipper available in the UK is least likely to tip over? I'm looking for a second hand one now, but I'll need to tow it off road. Most of the stuff I'll be chipping will be hawthorn brash after hedgelaying. Typically, I'd have to tow it along field edges and other uneven ground, but I'd need it to be fairly stable. I've ruled out a tracked chipper (too expensive - cheaper to hire in one or a tractor/chipper for the few times I really really need one) and a tractor/chipper (too slow between sites, plus I'd have to find a place to keep it). I like the idea of a Timberwolf (the 35 hp diesel) because it's light, but I've heard that they're more prone to tipping - a mate reckons a Greenmech is a better bet.
