I start with this one.
I have chance to buy Stihl 025C, looks ok
And Husqvarna 55, nice looking and not much older than 5yrs
Total 100$/€
I think that's a bargain???
Opinions?

The 55 is a good saw. 025 was a weak homeowner model, imo.
at least parts are still available for both.
seller is asking $100? Offer $60

Thank you for your input. My friend buys that Stihl and I'll keep 55 myself.
Our spares prices are so high that it pushes value of old saws up too. May sound weird but that is how it is.
Realistic value of these is 300€ or something like that so if this is not a scam I'll pay that 100€ without hesitation. 55 does not say "Air injection" or "Ranger" on it. I read it "Closed port".

I love my 55, started life in 1990 as a 50, but I took the old worn out top end off and made it into a 55!
A little bit of modifications to her as well, base gasket delete, light port grinding and piston lightening, on top of the muffler mod, but it definitely rips.
In my experience the older pre zama carb 55 models are a little better than their newer younger siblings! But still a great little saw all the same!
