Usually cut oak, do I need to do anything different for conifers please?

Cutting oak and chestnut for a few years, firewood and milling a few bits for hobby woodworking.

I have been asked to drop around 40 conifers, around 15-20 metres/45-60 feet tall.

Do I need to do anything different to how I would usually drop an oak please?

What about sap and wear/tear on my saws etc? Anything to watch out for. It’s going to be split for burning by the owner. I don’t want any of it.

Clean the sap off daily so it don't set in. WD 40 applied before cutting makes the sap come off easier.

Diesel works good on removing sap from equipment and it's real inexpensive.

Pitch will get on your clothes too. Might want to dedicate a couple sets for the work. When you need to wash them apply Pine Sol to all the pitch spots and let it soak in overnight before washing.
