I was watching the farming channel here (RFDTV) and saw a comercial for varemetator. What a cool tool. Its like an airspade that you put in a ground hog or mole type hole and I guess it just blows propane or some other explosive down the hole and then it has an ignitor on the hadle. Its pretty cool, you see the whole underground tunnels just explode with fire coming out.

I should get one and go into buisness for just varmet control. That would be fun. We have moles all over our property everywhere you walk the ground is squishy and I mean everywhere.

Is there an adjustment on the flame? Cause I like mine medium-rare, not well-done.

Ya My wife and I own a Organic truck farm and i looked into that years ago . Then is was called The Rodex 4000 (reminded me of the movie Death Race 2000 ) only here- moles 1 point, gophers 2 points, and rabbits 3. women or children add 1 point extra and a whole family double the total. The only catch is if you wanted to play the unit was over $4000 !!!! It did not catch on so they changed the name cheapened it up and sell it for $1880.00 thats one expensive rodent trap . It mixes propane with oxygen pumps it through a long handle then fills the tunnel system and you squeeze the trigger and BLAMMO the tunnels cave in knock out the vermin and he never wakes up . has something to do with he can not breath or move .I think this idea comes from the military. My uncle use to call the guy with the flame thrower some twisted derogatory name and he would come running and torch out the holes or tunnels .Then he would throw a few hand granades in . The company sent me this fun to watch video for free if you call them .

Sounds like alot of fun to me. Not as fun as cooking and mixing moth balls, coleman fuel, bleach and parifin wax but almost. That makes a pretty cool C'4 like explosive. Works better than any stump grinder.
