Vegetation Mowing Injury

Here is a link to Wildfire Today describing a severe injury due to a mower throwing a rock and hitting a man in the face. The injury was so bad that the medics thought he was shot.

yup I had a rock flung through the window of my vehicle and just missed my head a few years ago from a zero turn lawn mower mowing a lot I was driving by. yeah that's totally what it seems like is a bullet coming at you. praying this man has a full recovery

Golf balls and crushed soda cans really fly too. I owned a lawn care business for 18 years. There were apartment lawns I quit cutting because there was always so much junk on the lawn. Couldn't see all of it. I always ran my zero turns with the chutes up also.

yup sometimes your just in the wrong place at the wrong time

The only thing I had was a rock fly out hit a tree about 6 foot away bounced off and hit the neighbors house about 30 foot away and dented the siding enough I had to pay to replace that section. I'm glad it didn't hit their window or a person. Also glad it dint hit me Probly would have killed me.

I hate golf balls, they come out of the mower like a shot from 40mm cannon, the ricochets are the worst part.
