Vermeer 252 Electric Clutch

I had my machine looked over this week. The guy said the belts were slipping and I have a bad bearing in the electric clutch. He said he can't get inside the clutch or take it apart to replace the bearing. Any idea where I could get a new electric clutch and about how much they cost? Would this be the root to my torque problem?

I think there about £300 over here in UK so will prob be about $300.
I'm also sure that you can get into the elctric clutch because i'm sure the linings can be replaced.
Try a bearing/belt specialist they should be able to help.

Uses the same one as on the Rayco 1625 - about $250.

Mine went out about a yr ago. Got mine from vermeer. replaced it myself. I think the price was indeed around 250.
