Any of you guys run a Vermeer 652 grinder. I am looking at purchasing one. Dealership quoted me $41,700. I have rented the machine about 12 days in all and I love it. I have also rented the 352 and can't stand how little power it has. We don't have a rayco dealership here in Denver, even though I like the rg 50. Any thoughts...

I would at least consider the Carlton also.

652

i am picking one up a 652 on tuesday, i have a carlton 4012 and love it alot , i needed a machine that can do a depth of 20" as per my contracts, the only options where the vermeer or the rayco, The 652 has the best price for me. we will see if it can hold up to the reliablity of my carlton. there are ;lot of electronics on the veermer. i have heard people who have love it. Its the durabilty/reliabilty of the machine i am woried about.

Even if you don't have a dealer in your area Bandit would still probably sell you a machine, unfortunitely you wouldn't have the dealer support. If you are going to go with a Vermeer I would recommend the SC60TX. That machine can go anywhere and has a decent amount of power. Unfortunitely you would have to buy a trailer to haul it around. At times the electronics can be a pain, but if you have somebody that knows how to work on the machine then you should be fine.
