I'm looking for some advise on a handful of trees that have been planted in strictly clay soil. They were planted in the last 5 years. The ground around and in the planting hole the has been compacted by the lawn care companies over the years. I do not have an air spayed so was looking into other methods of amending the soil and creating better water and oxygen flow throughout the soil.

regular plug aerator will help some. liquid aeration is a minor help. You just need to keep building organic material into the soil.
