Great video Brad!! As a woodburner, I can't help but salivate over all that prime firewood. Good stuff.

probably a 10 year harvest of firewood if all the small pieces would have been included.

Yes, he does. The funny think is, is that he has cut for years, and we didn't even know what chaps were. Back before the days of cell phones, he spent many an hour out getting the biggest pieces of firewood he could, ALONE. He would cut and load 300-500 pound pieces all by himself, regularly! He's a mans man. Too bad he didn't pass those physical traits on, lol He's never cut himself once, but I agree, he still needs a pair.
I do have pictures if anyone is interested.
I saw a lot of good wood going into that chipper... sniff sniff
Nice job . I could have used that 72in bar for the red oak I had to deal with this morning it was just shy of 70in DBH. I do have pictures if anyone is interested.
Duhhhhh!
I bet that 72" looked like you should be shooting arrows with it.
Nice vids
here you go.
30in limb rounds
Stihlhead posing with the trunk
I did the face with the 066 a a 32" bar. There was no way I could handle the 084 an 6' bar doing that. I wouldn't have had any cleanup had I not had to change angles on it.That stump looks better than most I have seen that were 1/2 the diameter.
I suspect you're a smidge hard on yourself as a critic.
With that floppity long bar drooping, it's gonna be a struggle to get things lined up perfect on the face cut, and I'm waiting for someone to chime in on how to do it better as well.
Maybe a shorter bar and going in halves on the face, then cleaning it up....like I gotta do without a 6' Bar? LOL!

I probably spent no more than an hour bucking it up. There was one other guy running a stock 460 on the smaller end of it.BTW bucking with that thing is cheating!!
It would be at least a weekend of buzzing for most of us. LOL!!
