Turd Ferguson connected me with this bar for a two man saw complete with a very early McCulloch decal. Unfortunately it had been stored in the cardboard sleeve under less than ideal conditions and has some rusty spots. We cleaned it up as best we could and gave it a good rubdown with WD40 to help prevent additional corrosion.

I thought the cardboard sleeve should be on display as well, pretty ratty but a nice piece of McCulloch history. Look at the "postal code" for Los Angelos.

Very cool display Mark! You wouldn't happen to know where I could purchase a pullstarter assembly for a Jonsered 80 do you?

Tony - try asking in the Jonsered thread, and keep watching eBay...

Some additional saws were dropped off today. These belong to Boyd Dosher (Boyd's Outdoor Power - Dresser, WI) but will be on display here for a while.

The 80 is a nice example of the work that was done.

At least one will still generate a spark!

I've been slacking a bit on updates here...

This is an "Electrolux McCulloch PM 10-51", quite modern and yet such an oddball.

I've also been working on my Homelite corner. This is a 26LCS, too many issues to be a runner but it does add to the display.

XL-123 The coil is dead and the crankcase leaks so again no runner but as nice addition to the display.

Super XL Piston and cylinder were badly scored but it looks good.

I also cleaned up with 150, I thought it should be included to complete with the McCulloch 330/340 models in the ugly saw competition.

Mark, I have never seen a homelite 150 with the rubber grip on the rear handle. Wonder if it is late production model or owner installed ? Very nice though.
Erik.

Von Ruden hydraulic saw, now located in the display.

I cleaned up these two Skil saws this week.

We're running out of room on the shelves now days so we've started hanging some in between levels.

While the focus of my hobby is chainsaws, it's always good to remember "power saws" were not always available.

20240419_171417.jpg

I also acquired a few smaller buzz saw blades in addition the the one and two man crosscut saws and the ice saws. Since I am running out of wall space inside, I had to put a few of the saws/blades outside on the shop end of the building.

When I can catch the correct lighting, I'll get some photos of the inside saws.
